The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery will be hosting exhibitions of digital art with the Artist Emily Campbell who will be creating a stunning visual illusion taking up the entire floor space of a gallery, a cartoon exhibition by a popular local cartoonist and stunning landscape photography exhibition with Michael Collins alongside workshops and activities related to the Big Picture.

The Café serves a wide selection of hot and cold food and drinks, including fairtrade products and Staffordshire oatcakes.
The Foyer Shop stocks a diverse and unique array of merchandise including greetings cards and stationery, hand-crafted gift items, children’s gifts, toys and novelty items, nostalgia items of bygone times, jewellery and many other books and gifts.
Toilets and baby changing facilities are available.
Can I take my camera…?
The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery permits photography in the gallery spaces for your own personal use.
How do I get there…?
By Road
From M6 exit 15 or 16 take A500 to Stoke-on-Trent. Follow signs for City Centre (Hanley), Cultural Quarter and The Potteries Museum.
By Train
Stoke-on-Trent station is 20 minutes’ walk from the museum.Taxis and buses are also available from the station.
There is plenty of parking within five minutes’ walk of the museum. Drop-off point at Bethesda Street entrance.
When is it open…?
Opening times for The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery are as follows:
November – February
Monday – Saturday: 10am – 4pm
Sunday: 1pm – 4pm
March – October
Monday – Saturday: 10am – 5pm
Sunday: 2pm – 5pm
What about disability access…?
The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery is listed in the Good Access Guide.
All public areas are accessible by lift, ramp and stairs. Two wheelchairs are available on request. There are unisex accessible toilets on the Lower Ground and Ground Floors. Guide dogs and other assistance dogs are welcomed and a water bowl is provided.
All information is available in Large Print on request. What’s On leaflets are available in Braille, Large Print and audio versions. Our Visitor Desk and Forum Theatre are fitted with Induction Loops. Hearing Helper kits are available for visitors tours and talks by museum staff.
