Wolverhampton Art Gallery is a family friendly place to see many different types of art.
From the wonderful traditional paintings in the Georgian and Victorian rooms to the fun funky Pop Art gallery and some fantastic photography, there is something for all tastes. Many rooms also give you the chance to touch and play with things, dress-up and even make your own art to take home!

Anything else…?
The Café is open at the same time as the gallery and offers a selection of hot drinks and food including great soups, filled jacket potatoes and baguettes, quiches and salads and delicious cakes.
The shop is situated at the entrance of the gallery and sells a changing selection of cards, books and craft items.
There are toilets at various locations (including accessible toilets) baby changing facilities.
There is a Resource Centre with access to the Gallery’s collections (by appointment).
Can I take my camera…?
Yes, you can. All you need to do is make sure you leave your details at the reception desk (near to Victorian entrance in Lichfield Street), where you will be issued with a red sticky dot to show you have registered.
How do I get there…?
Wolverhampton Art Gallery is 5 minutes walk from rail, metro and bus stations, following pedestrian signage. By road follow signage to the city centre and brown signs to the Art Gallery. See the gallery on Google Maps.
The nearest car park is the Civic Centre (entrance in Wulfruna Street at the rear of the Gallery), just 2 minutes from the Gallery.
When is it open…?
Wolverhampton Art Gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
What about disability access…?
Wolverhampton Art Gallery is accessible for visitors with disabilities. There is free parking (no time limit) for Orange Badge holders on Wulfruna Street, a few metres from the ramped entrance in St. Peter’s Close.
